Tippler woodpecker purple

This is a so called perpetuum mobile which means as much as continuously moving. Already Albert Einstein had one of these fascinating creatures on his desk hence also the name Einstein duck.
Once the bill of the woodpecker is inserted into the water in the glass the woodpecker "pecks" the water at a slow interval.
