The Cutty Sark (Scot. short undergarment) is probably the most well known Clipper in the world she was built in Scotland and served a tea- and woolclipper as well as training ship from 1869 - 1938. In 1938 she was donated to the Thames Nautical Training College. In 1954 she untertook her last voyage and was restaurated to her original teaclipper masting in Greenwich in a special dry dock where she was used as museum ship until 21th May 2007 when large parts of her burned during restauration work.
